Barbara Farrar Evans has several SCRC stage credits, including The Savannah Disputation, Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks, My Old Lady, Doubt, Foxfire, Rabbit Hole, Yellow Dog Crossing, Odd Jobs, Greetings, Collected Stories, On Golden Pond, Last Lists of My Mad Mother and W;t. Barbara also served as director for Auntie & Me. She lists acting credits in New York Off Broadway—Grace and Glorie and Blue Skies Forever, plus several Off-Off productions. She has performed over 100 major roles in regional theatres in Indiana, Illinois, Pennsylvania, D.C., Idaho, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Florida, Virginia, and North and South Carolina. In addition, she toured three shows throughout western central states, in southeastern USA, and in California. Barbara has a M.A. in Shakespeare Studies from the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK. When she and her husband Tom Evans are not working or visiting elsewhere, they divide time among homes in Hilton Head Island, New York City, and Hanover, Indiana. Barbara is a member of Actor’s Equity.
